個人的にはローマン・バースよりもこちらの寺院の方が気に入りました。内装(特に天井)の細工が細かくて綺麗です。
12時から観光客は入れないそうです。早めに行くことをお勧め。
お金を払うと屋上に行けるよ!
What a wonderful, colourful and historical town where this majestic Gothic Church stands proud! From the beautiful interior to the many intricate furniture designs to the majestic stained glass panels...so steeped in history. This Gothic Churchs exterior is breathtaking no less ⛪.. so blessed and in awe of Gods Glory!
Visiting the Abbey was a very pleasant unexpected surprise, as I came to Bath to see the Roman Baths but unfortunately they were fully booked and in full capacity because of covid 19 crowd number restrictions. The Abbey is a magistic place steeped with history, the entrance fee to the Abbey is free but a donation is requested and encouraged by the staff, you can choose to pay cash or credit card. I would definitely recommend visiting, you will be stunned by the architecture of this glorious building and its stained glass.
The last time I visited Bath Abbey the floor was still in the process of being restored, so it was lovely to enjoy the whole space. I was greeted at the door by a friendly young woman and equally by the person at the desk inside. There is no entrance fee but donations are encouraged. There is a lot to see and enjoy, particularly the stained glass windows, the fan-vaulted ceiling and the memorials. There is a small shop which sells various souvenirs, gifts and books.
Was able to complete the ground floorGuided tour with an excellent guide, on my scooter. Was so impressed with the refurbishment of the stone floors which cost millions.Bath has every right to be proud of this magnificent Abbey so rich in history.
Stunning, donation based entry but in my opinion 15 quid for family is a fantastic price. High vibrational place, amazing
Very nice afternoon out useful information easily displayed and appealing to the kids they had a good time
The tower tour has been a highlight of our day in Bath. 60min. guided stairs walk through the bell and clock rooms, with the most beautiful view overlooking the entire city. You can have a sneak peek on the Romans Baths as well (in case you did not pre-book it). The guides were enthusiastic, thoughtful and very engaging.
Stunning architecture inside with helpful staff that gave us a little more insight into the history. Not much to do when inside but a grand abbey for quiet contemplation.
A magnificent building. No entrance charge but donations are welcomed.Friendly, helpful guides.
Nice quiet mid day communion service
Remember to really enjoy this place you must be on foot there is minimum parking here. Absolutely beautiful architecture
Beautiful architecture - wow @
Do the tour! Some tight stairways but well worth it.
