やはり見所は16番！おすすめは10,15,16ですかね。全部見るととても疲れるので、16番を中盤以降にみることにして、それ以外を何個か見れば十分かと思います。客引きがいて、パンフレット売り付けてきますのでいらないなら断りましょう。じゃないとずっとついてきます。あと勝手にガイドみたいに喋り初める人もいますが、ハッキリ要らないと断らないとあとでお金請求されたりとめんどくさいことになります。基本、ガイドがなくてもまわれます。迷うことはないです。世界遺産ということもあり、詐欺というか観光客はいい金づるになるので、無駄金払わないよう気持ちもしっかり閉めていきましょう。

アジャンターと並んで、アウランガーバードの2大石窟寺院と言えるエローラ。アクセスはCBSからのツアーバスもしくは、ローカルバス（33ルピー）。規模が大きく、彫刻は見応えあり。しかし第16洞窟以外はそれほどでも、、という印象。それだけ第16洞窟は素晴らしい。

インドに来たら必ず行くべき場所。遺跡の巨大さに圧巻。岩山を手で掘った当時の人々の苦労。宗教で敵対宗教の神の顔を潰した跡。何もかもに圧倒される美しい世界遺産。シヴァ神、パールヴァティ神、などのストーリーや、ジャイナ教の考えなどを少し学んでおくとさらに楽しめる。

素晴らしいの一言に尽きます。アメージング。

アウランガーバードの空港から車で1時間ぐらいで着きます! 5.6.700ルピーぐらいで行けます! 泊まるならエローラケーブスから徒歩1分のカイラスってホステルが便利です! 全て回るのに3キロ2.3時間は必要だと思います! 現地の人がガイドブックを売って来ます大体250ルピーぐらいだったかな、結構役に立ちました! 買って損は無いと思います! 行った記念にもなると思います! インディージョーンズ 的な感じで面白かったです! 参考になれば何より〜

アジャンター石窟群と別日程で行きました。個人的にはこちらの方がオススメです。特にカイラサテンプルは圧巻の一言。また、アウランガーバードからの道のりにはダウラターバード要塞などの観光地もあり寄り道も楽しいです。アウランガーバードからですと、オートリキシャでもアクセス可能です。

2019年3月　外国人料金　600ルピーでした。人力で掘って彫刻されたとは信じられない大きさ、精緻さです。何百年もかかったと思いますが、初期設計から完成まで、どのように設計思想を受け継いだのでしょうか？

一度はみたいと思っていた場所。下から見ても上から眺めても最高でした🎵

This is must visit place if youre somebody who loves history and creativity. You will wonder seeing this and it inspired me that how talented was our ancestors. They have created this kind of area decades before and I dont think that we will be able to make a new one with these perfection despite with all the amenities and infrastructure we have.

Wow! What a wonderful, beautiful, historical, cultural and educational place. One of the bestest place in THE WORLD. It should be in the list of SEVEN WONDERS OF WORLD 👌👌👌👌.What a great sculptures which is done by hand work without help of any machines. Carving are done by humans only by hammer and nails which took about 500-600years.

The place is well Maintained by government, unfortunately the poc tract workers hired dont believe in wearing masks. I also noticed security guards chewing Tobaco Gutka and spitting in the premises. I have logged a formal complaint with the authorities but nothing ever happens.The canteen is still closed but have chai and wada pav outside at Mr. Rathod’s chai shop it’s legit. 😍

Vaccination Certificate Must .Awasome place , 4-6 Hr required if you want to visit all caves and know about them .Best time is 12-5pm as the Sunlight is good for taking photographs.The Vendors inside should be controlled by Govt.

It is a UNESCO Heritage site. Beautiful caves carved fro rocks. A lot of walking.

Excellent place for those who are interested in seeing historical monuments. This 200 years ago monument is way too huge. It would nearly take 3-4 hours approx. to visit the whole architecture. The spot contains many caves. If you are planning to visit many spots nearby Ellora Caves, then you may miss some of the caves, as it nearly requires 3-4 hours to visit each spot. Water bottles, bags are allowed. Ticket oriented place. Washroom facility available. Parking comodity is available in a wide area.

A marvel and should be a must visit on everyones list.This place is underrated in so many ways, its just a miracle cant say anything else about its arcitecture after seeing this beauty. If Taj is a gem of india this is a necklace of gems along with ajanta caves.every indian or for tht matter every human who loves to explore this place is a must visit.

People with interest in touring historic places will find this interesting. There are 34 caves there, and a huge area. Best time to visit is to come in morning between 9 to 11 am and you will easily spend 4-5 hours there exploring it

Very very mesmerizing location. The road leading up to the caves is neatly carved. Some of the structures are now risky but its really remarkable to see the kind of carving that exists there.

Great place to visit , do not go by online articles that says you can view this in 2 hours . It takes around 5-6 hours min to view it completely, their are 34 caves each distinct in itself. 1-30 are nearby for the later jain caves 31-34 they have bus facilities to take you till the caves or you could do a small walk in the same path from cave 30.Recommend wearing comfortable shoes and take water and some snacks with you 🙂
