My wife and I had our wedding at the beautiful Key Largo Marriott. Our friends and us took out quite a few rooms in October and all had an amazing time.Cathy and the events staff had been working with us for weeks. Let me just say she’s the best!!! So easy to work with and flexible…meanwhile always giving a great explanation of what can and can’t be done and why. Finally, when our wedding weekend came she handed us over to the rest of the staff and they were just as attentive as her!Everyone and everything was on time. Food was excellent. Guests were beyond happy. Everyone telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to! (Okay maybe a little confirmation bias).If we were to ever plan any more special events, we would always consider the Key Largo Marriott front and center. We look forward to going down often and making sure we get to say hi to Cathy and the rest of the amazing staff!

We had an ocean front 2 bedroom suite and it was well worth it. The view over the pool and beyond was great. My in laws loved the balcony which could hold our whole group of 6 easily. Very nice kitchen, but a little sparse on the kitchen supplies, pots and pans, knives and only 5 plates. The restaurant on site was very good. Everything was well maintained. Beds very comfortable.

Hotel and grounds were clean, beautiful. Room was large, also very clean, perfect for stay during a pandemic with entrance from an outside balcony and balcony on other side with view of beautiful, serene bay. This allowed for relaxing, worry free stay. Staff were friendly, helpful. The beach area was not optimal for swimming due to being shallow and having seaweed right up to shoreline but typical of this area of the Keys and we were forewarned by reviews of beaches in the Keys. A delightful surprise for us was Gus’ Grille as our experience with hotel restaurants in general has been hit and miss. We were able to eat on an outside patio area with beautiful views but best of all, the food was very good. We ate at other restaurants but found food here to be better by far and also appreciated the friendly courteous service.

Beautiful room facing the bay, with larger wrap around balcony. The room was well-appointed, and the housekeeping staff was attentive. The watersports team at Pirates Cove was wonderful (we went snorkeling and also rented wave runners). Our only big complaint relates to the bartender at the pool bar, who completely ignored us, to the point that we chose to not order drinks at all on the property for the duration of our stay. The rooms have been updated, but have some rough edges (floors between bathroom and main area dont line up; lots of dust and retained drywall around the ceiling sprinkler system), but this didnt detract from our enjoyment of the room.

The property is clean and nicely decorated. Beds are comfortable. Has its own private beach adjacent to the pool. Pool is well maintained with plenty of chairs and towels. Balconies are spacious and have great views. Only ate breakfast at Gus’ restaurant. Food was fine, service was great.

This hotel WAS a great one, we can tell. Right now its a very old hotel, not well maintained. The rates are not adequate to his actual status. Hotel and facilities are old and in need of renovation. We requested regular housekeeping but we didnt receive it. The staff doesnt care and its evident they are dissatisfied of their job. The Restaurant is old, with poor choices of food but the staff is nice and helpful. Susana was the one who made our days. Were not going back for sure.

Great spot. Never had to leave the resort. Pirates cove did an amazing job with our snorkeling adventure staff was kind and professional. Clean and beautiful pricepoints where a touch high for food and drink but the quality was good. Over all fun trip!

Great place! Amazing stay we had a 2 bedrooms suite with a huge balcony a living space. A tad disappointed with 1 bathroom but we made work with 3 young adults and 2 parents. Property has lots of fun from the pool, to the beach, jet skis, and drinks at tiki bar. Front desk was helpful with idea for dinners and activities. Parasailing at front of the hotel and so much more. Everything is clean and well maintained. Just a beautiful vacation.

We arrived early and our room was available and we were checked in. We ate dinner at the on premise restaurant and it was spectacular! Our children loved the pool and the outdoor activity area. Our small dog enjoyed the pet friendly walking areas and disposal station. Mom found a really nice unique pair of earrings in the gift shop. Thank you to all the staff for the friendly courteous service. Next time we will definitely bring our boat and take advantage of your 1st class marina.

Pros: Views are relatively good from seemingly any room. Onsite water sports and restaurants make this an appealing hotel. Cons:Restaurant service was lackluster. Rooms are relatively tiny and awkwardly laid out. Biggest complaint though is the cleanliness and upkeep of this hotel. The public areas appear to be way past their cycle for renovation and the rooms look like they were slapped together during their last renovation. Paint and clean needed throughout the resort.Overall- decent experience. But Ill put it to you this way, go stay at the autograph.

Stayed here for 2 weekend nights in July. Rate decreased just as we booked so we decided to give it a try. Value could be better for what we paid. Water pressure in room is poor; dining options are limited. Quality of food and drinks is good. Room and resort are clean and safe. Poolside bar is good but closes well before sunset and hours before pool closes. Overall I would stay here again if the rate aligned with what I was planning to spend.

We didn’t tell them it was our 35th anniversary. We used the pool but not the sit down restaurant or their ample snorkel/diving tours. The hotel is well kept up and clean. Rooms are nicely updated. Coffee maker and frig in room helped us store our leftovers and allowed us to buy our own drinks at the Winn Dixie and drink them at our leisure. . Ice machines on each floor. Elevator worked well and was kept clean but was slow.

The resort was very nice and clean. The staff was very friendly. Theres lots of activities available to do at the resort such as snorkeling, jet ski rentals, kayak rentals, restaurants and bars. My only complaint would be that they charge you $15.00 a day to park at the resort. I would expect for the rates they are charging, the parking would be included. Other than that, I would recommend a stay there.

Dont know anything about staying in the resort, but we rented jet skis from the back of this Marriott that is the service of that hotel and we had a blast!

Overall experience was pretty good. The rooms and common areas of the resort where pretty upkept. Staff was great in the lobby and pool area. However Gus’s Grill was understaffed hens service was poor. The restaurant needs to be cleaned to show better appearance. Didn’t meet a Marriott standard if you ask me. Other than that no further comments.

My husband and I have stayed here many times over the past 20 years. Just as we are aging, so is this resort. It is still a favorite, but more attention needs to be paid to details. No host in dining room to seat the few guests who came in, and no music. I played pandora on my phone to break the oppressive silence. The firepits werent lit nor were the tiki torches. Granted it was a slow week, but we still deserve the same experience. This is a franchise and not operated by Marriott, so perhaps thats part of it. Still, it has a lot to offer and we will definitely keep coming back. Be sure to book a snorkeling trip through the on-site Pirates Cove shop. Great crew, great time!

Amazing long weekend. Room in excellent condition. Nice balcony view!! Breakfast at Gus Restaurant is a must beautiful view and service. The pool area clean but very busy. Enough parking space and very happy with our stay.

This resort had everything we wanted in a resort. The pool was refreshingly cool, unlike several other resorts we’ve been to in the Keys. The staff at the front desk, pool bar and Gus’s were friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back!!

The location on Key Largo is outstanding, but the rooms we saw are in need of updating. Kitchen and bathroom cabinets are horrible. Investments are in need.With that said, the restaurant food was very good. Pricey, but good.Also - you staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a great time. Loved the resort. There are a lot of things to do, and it is beautiful with great sunsets. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would like better would be for the tiki bar near the pool to stay open later.

We love this hotel for our mini getaways!! We used to come here every summer with our family and then stopped bc it was a little run down and need some up keeping to be done. We haven’t been back in over 10 years and then during the pandemic last year, we decided to give it another try because we use to have such great times there. We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel has definitely been updated and the rooms were big, spacious and very clean. They even upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite facing the pool and beach and that was amazing! We enjoyed our big spacious balcony every night and was an added bonus that our beautiful little pup was able to join us. We will be back…sooner than later!!

I really enjoyed my stay. Resort staff was wonderful. Although I did not partake in many of the resort offerings, I had a wonderful time. I was mostly out traveling the Keys.

From check in to check out our experience was awesome. Check in was super fast. Our room was very clean & the view was fabulous. The entire resort was cleaned everyday. Drinks & food top notch. We highly recommend the spa

The staff was awesome and the location is wonderful. The pool could have been cleaned or shocked more often at night. The Cabana rentals are expensive with no food or beverage.However, the staff treated everyone with kindness, the room was clean and had an excellent view. Within walking distance to restaurants and music. The spa treatments were nice after snorkeling for days. Also, took in the sunset view with Pirates Cove and the captain and mate were fun to go out with. Will stay there again.

This cleaning staff deserve a raise! Cleanest hotel or resort we have ever stayed at! Not even Sandal’s or Intercontinental can match it. All staff we encountered were pleasant. If your looking for a place to stay in Key Largo, you can’t go wrong here.

Overall stay was good. A few minor problems hampered this Review to be rated excellent. Water pressure in room was bad. When we checked into room, a dirty wash cloth was hanging from shower stall and no new clean wash cloths were given. Pool staff members were not too friendly. When we asked some minor questions, they gave us impression that we were bothering them. Parking was difficult, but could not be helped due to space constraints. On-site restaurant was very pricey and quality was fair average. Hotel grounds were very nice though. Well maintained and clean. Perfect location and very nice views of lagoon and sunsets.

Positives of our stay: upgraded our room, room was very clean and well kept. Beds and pillows were comfortable. A/C worked well. Plenty of coffee and tea provided in room.Areas that need improvement: Sliding balcony doors needed to be oiled, room service did not service our room for one day. Had to call reception desk about 5:30PM. This was a big inconvenience. The room service did eventually come to make up the room.

This hotel was clean and had great amenities. Although we had trouble checking in, overall it was a great experience. We also had trouble with one of the waiters at the restaurant insisting that my wife should have a medium rare burger rather than well done. We insisted on having well done. He brought our burgers and they were burnt. He laughed and said, you cant tell me these burgers have any pink in them. Hahaha. Other than these little hick ups everything was great. The rest of the staff was extremely friendly and professional. I would stay here again.

Loved everything about our stay. The room was really pretty and big, the beds were clean and comfortable. Loved the updated decor! Service was great, breakfast was made to order. The beach that was accessible right from the hotel was just what we needed! Loved the pool and the bar too, plus all the activities you could do right from the hotel.

Well maintained rooms very clean and bedding is a dream. Pool area is nice and grounds are well maintained. Cant ask for more for a relaxing vacation in the keys

Perfect location right on the water, with multiple restaurant options, easy mobile check-in/check-out process, clean accommodations, and various bonus amenities (fridge/complimentary water bottles/balcony/etc...). We stayed for one night at the Marriott Beach Resorts. Rooms were clean and nicely laid out. The property is large and there are many different options for dining. Would stay again if we are in this area

This resort was the most amazing place weve ever had the pleasure of staying at. From the wonderful check in hostess who gave us our great room view, to the Breezers waiters at dinner, to the amazing pool/ beach view, we couldnt have been happier with our stay. It is on our bucket list to return in the next year or 2 for a whole week! Thank you Key Largo Marriott!

This hotel is located north of all the hustle and bustle of Key Largo. The room sizes are generous and have nicely refreshed decor. The views are great out to the water.Heres the not so great parts of the hotel. There is no free breakfast or non-motorized water sports, which for the price of the rooms those should be included. The soundproofing is almost non-existent as the helicopter flies over daily early in the morning and wakes you up, as well as the sounds of neighbors in rooms above you. The beach and pool are connected by a gate that you need your room card to open. There are beach towels. The water is not clear most of the day and you will walk in sea grass the whole way out, so you might want to wear water shoes. Bring your own snorkel gear to see fish in the early morning hours before the water gets churned up by the jet skis that are for rent right by the swimming area.

Last night of our Honeymoon. Would have liked to spend a little more time. The view from our balcony amazing. Staff was wonderful.

Could not have asked for a more spectacular weekend. Overall a wonderful time with an amazing room and beautiful facilities. Cant wait to spend some more time during our next visit.

We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is a bit older but well maintained. Beautiful property and location. Walking distance to several restaurants/bars. The property itself has great restaurants with fantastic views when seated outside. Food was delicious and plentiful. Great location to view the famous sunset also.

This hotel is very quaint. It is a very relaxing atmosphere with a lovely pool and immediate beach access to Key Largo Bay. You can be as lazy as you want or as active as you wish.

The beach was nice and had plenty of lounges. Could have used more umbrellas for those that can be put in the sand. They have only a few thatched umbrellas to get shade. Pool is small-medium size but was refreshing, just a bit crowded with all the kids. However I give kudos to the parents that weekend they really managed their kids and were well behaved. The beds however were hard as a rock and neither my husband or I slept at all. The balcony was nice and had a nice view and room overall was nice, just the bed which really ruined our vacation for back pain and no sleep.

We had a family vacation with 5 adults and 8 kids ages 0-11, so we needed a 2 bedroom suite plus two regular rooms. We stayed for 5 nights at the Marriott Key Largo Bay Beach Resort. The rooms were clean, quiet, and the beds super comfy. The suite was our home base for the kitchen, and the place for kids to be together while the adults relaxed on the large balcony and watched the sunset. The suite was MUCH larger than expected with a full kitchen and living area. The food at Guss restaurant was delicious, and the resort pool and beach were nice with incredible views. The people at Pirates Cove Watersports were friendly and helpful for all things water fun related. It was nice being on the bay side rather than the ocean side, because we were sheltered from the wind which blew most of the week we were there, but it was barely a breeze at the resort. It was an epic adventure for our group, and I highly recommend the Marriott Key Largo Beach Resort.

Lovely resort with many amenities. Food was delicious, service was excellent. Room service was quick too. Check in and out was a breeze. Pet friendly.

We stayed at the resort because it had many amenities, but the resort was old and showed signs of wear. The web site pictures do not reflect the resorts condition. Most of the areas hotels are older and I suspect in similar condition. There are a few newer hotels and they maybe worth checking out.

Great location. Clean, well maintained facility. Loved the beach front ocean and pool. Tiki bar was a perfect option while sitting outside, however, service is a little slow. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and met expectations. Great for a friends trip, couples or family. Lots to see and do.

We have stayed here a few times and its a nice place. Like most places some employees are great and some are average.The restaurant leaves a lot to be desired as they messed up 4 of 5 orders. The food was good though. I wish they would do a better job cleaning up the trash on the beach. I picked up broken glass, cups, and lots of cigarette butts. Also, the need more people patrolling the pool as a few times I witnessed guests with glass bottles at the pool.Overall its a good place to say. Its not a crazy crowd and its also not a high end very expensive crowd.

The service was good. Cleanliness was ok. The hotel stated it was rennovated in 2020, it doesn’t appear that way. Our room was updated, but the door had paint pealing and the floor near the shower was pealing. We just felt for the amount of money we paid, which was a lot, we would have had a WOW experience. It wasn’t the case.

Loved it. Didnt want to leave. Great place to kickback and relax. Closet walk from the pool to our own private beach. Gorgeous scenery and stunning sunsets! Will definitely be back!

The pool got crowded, noisy, and lots of kids. Children are not kept out of hot tub. The bay beach is quieter and the swimming area there was calm.The service at the pool was very good. But the bar was basic and the burger came more cooked than we ordered.Paper/plastic products in rooms, we assume are Covid protocol. The rooms have been renovated in the past, but its time for another.

My husband and I had a great time and we were pleased with the services that we experienced. Our flight arrived early and we were accommodated to enjoy the pool and private beach area until we were able to check in early! The staff went above and beyond!

We decided to drive down to the Keys the same day on 4th of July weekend and it was very easy to book the room. When we arrived the registration was fast and friendly. We only stayed for 1 night but it was awesome. So many things to do. 100% recommend.

My room was beautiful overlooking the entire pool area and the beach. The service was amazing. I had an amazing time there and will definitely be going back soon!

My husband and I live local but wanted a vacation feel for his birthday so we booked a night last minute. We had a pool and beach view and enjoyed the amazing beverages and food. The balcony to our room was huge with doors that completely slid open. The staff was super friendly with an easy check in process. We really enjoyed our getaway and will absolutely be back for my birthday later in the year!

We had not been able to travel for a year due to the pandemic and when we finally were able to travel we chose to stay at the Key Largo Marriott Resort. Best decision we could have made! The accommodations were top notch and it had everything we wanted, pool, beach, bike rentals, jet ski rentals, etc! Restaurants in the hotel were excellent as we had breakfast several times and the staff at Gus’s were so accommodating especially Barbara who greeted us each day with warmth and smiles! The restaurants in the area are all 5 stars and you really don’t have to go far as the best ones are all in a 5 mile radius. Highly recommend this location and we will definitely return!

Excellent pool area. My only downfall of the beach area was the seaweed in the water (not on the top but bottom). Several water activities were available such as jet skiing, boat rentals, sunset cruises etc. We ate the restaurant the night we arrived. Service was slow to be seated but when we were the service and food were good. Had two appointments at the spa and both were great. Overall, I would stay there again.

We were very happy with our stay at this resort. The rooms and property were very clean and staff very friendly and helpful! They had good food at the pool and plenty of activity options. I would highly recommend staying here if you are coming to key largo.

From the Front desk to the Bartenders (Carlos & Rodderick) the whole staff was great. Sorry I cant remember the Front desk ladies name that helped get our room changed but she was Fantastic and her follow up was great. I believe her name started with a S. Will plan on coming back. Dining could get an updated menu. Only 2 flavors to choose from on the wings .

We were attending a wedding in Key Largo. We stayed at the Key Largo Marriott 5 nights. At first look, the hotel looks run down, however the rooms are nice. Pool, beach area are great with nice music. Not too loud, not too soft. Good food, drinks and service at pool bar. On the weekend, beach service was more available. Definitely, lacking atmosphere for evening. Maybe due to COVID.

We stayed for two days on our way down the Keys. There were games on site like Ping Pong that kept my older boys entertained. The sports and excursions rental being on site was super convenient and the staff were friendly. The pool was great and enjoyed the Tiki Bar. Coffee in the lobby at all times was a God Send!!!

We traveled to most of the major Keys on our trip, which meant driving far from our hotel. Even to hang out in Key Largo, this hotel is not super close to much of interest. The pool and beach area was nice but we didnt want to stay there all day and decided to island hop. I wouldnt have spent more money on the hotel than we did. We took a deal on a no view room for 3 days and honestly it was just like any nice-ish hotel room but I wouldnt say it felt like we were at a resort.

We had a group of 11 total and found this hotel to be very accommodating AJ’s convenient for a large groupWe splurged on the sunset Eco cruise one night and found this was a really nice excursion also!The food at the resort is delicious, especially the breakfast at Gils! Drinks by the pool we’re also very todos!

My stay was very relaxing and enjoyed the hotel facilities. The staff were very helpful and welcoming.

The place was not the resort I was hoping it would be. The staff was not friendly. The waiters were not experienced or didn’t seem to want to take care of the guests. We had to ask for refills all the time (our glasses would be completely empty and not once did they ask or fill up without us asking, one waitress wouldn’t even give us time to talk. She would walk away before we could even finish all of our requests. We had a large group one dinner and the food came out cold. The house cleaning didn’t give us new sheets. The dive shop said they would give us fresh fruits between dives and we only received that once (fruit* though, only oranges even though they said fruits). The other times we received nothing or just mints/small candy. I was disappointed in the majority of the resort, especially knowing how expensive the nightly rates were and the price of the food.

Phenomenal experience. Great staff. Specifically Rachael and Daniel. Loved the beach, the room and got a killer referral on a restaurant close by. Can’t wait to go back.

This is our third time staying at the Key Largo Marriott. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this hotel!!! I refuse to stay anywhere else. The staff are nothing short of professional and service outstanding. The pool and beach are amazing. So much to do for people of all ages. Highly recommend!!!!

This is a must if you enjoy the finer things in life. Pillow talk. King size beds are the best. Great area for enjoying room service, but I opted for the Surf and Turf inside dining! Requested a table with a view for dinner as the sun was setting. Sunset was very fitting for relaxing in the sunshine state.

We love spending a couple of days in this resort. We do it every year. Staff is great and the beach/pool area is very relaxing.

Wonderful stay. Was hoping for an early check in but not available when we arrived. However we were given access to pool bar and private beach and enjoyed our time checking out the resort and surrounds. Room was on floor 4 of the torch key building and was perfect! Excellent resort for leisure, food and adventures.

We had an outstanding room (301) with one of the best balconies I’ve had in a long time! Front desk service was great. Gus’ take out was good. Only issue was large group of non-guests monopolizing the pool/hot tub area on night one. Seemed like they knew right when to come and leave to not be caught. Location is superb!

Very old facilities. It is not the typical Marriott hotel. They should clean the water front beach. It is loaded with seaweeds and grass. The restaurant is nice and has a nice view. The staff is wonderful.Facilities are very old.

We were very pleased with our stay at your resort. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Staff was responsive and friendly. The amenities were terrific. The location was ideal. We will definitely return!

I read many mixed reviews on this location but decided to give it a try. We were very pleased with our suite that was updated and extremely comfortable. The kitchen and bath were ok but need to be updated. The service was great and anything we needed was brought to our room promptly. The pool and beach areas were great. It was crowded because it was spring break but service was great. The food was inconsistent but one of our meals was really great! Thank you for a wonderful week in the sun!

The Marriott in Key Largo has a beautiful setting. You would think you were in the Caribbean if you did not know the highway was right out front. The hotel is undergoing some renovations which are much needed. The room I received had a beautiful view with a wrap around balcony and was partially renovated (although the website says rooms renovated in 2020). The bathroom vanity was old the ceiling fire extinguishers were not covered/replaced and there was a large step down gap between the new tile floor in the bathroom and the floor in the vanity area - so large my husband put a towel down to remind us not to trip on it. The main restaurants décor was old and in need of renovating - and the hallways to the rooms were in need of a power wash.Both bars on the property were nice the inside bar seemed to be recently renovated.The pool/ beach area was very nice had new chairs and towels. We never had any trouble finding a chair - which is always a plus on a vacation. I would stay here again if I make a trip to Key Largo hoping that the ongoing renovations continue.

Were year round Miami residents and decided to try this resort again after a rather bad experience several years ago. Booked a 2 night visit and it exceeded all expectations. We didnt dine on site but the pool bar and Breezers both were good. Housekeeping left a bit to be desired but it was OK. We definitely will return on our next mini vacation.
