The historical ruins of Kirkstall Abbey were definitely interesting to explore. Photos dont do it justice, this place is massive! If you enjoy getting exercise, I recommend taking the scenic route and walking along River Aire to get to Kirkstall Abbey, as you will see Leeds in a new light. Unfortunately, Abbey House Museum closed 20 minutes early that day, but I had a great time nonetheless. Bring a friend and a hot cup of coffee or tea and you will have a good time.
Beautiful place not too far from the city centre. A reprieve from the hustle and bustle, and a whole lot of greenery.
Well kept for its ageLots of plaques telling the history of the various parts of the AbbeyVery quiet and tranquill nice to be able to take in the ambiance of the abbey
Everything great and free entrance
Great place for a picnic by the river and to walk around the beautiful abbey. Free car park across the road. Dont go on Mondays as the visitor centre is closed and we couldnt find any toilets.
Very interesting place! It really worth visiting!
Hidden gem. Very interesting for all ages.
Its okay. We were nearby, so had a little wander around. Its free to get it (which is about the right cost for the experiene).
Incredibly beautiful and most importantly, free! Free parking and free toilets too :)
Always a pleasure to visit this historical site. Free parking, lots of space and a museum and cafe.
