Loved this little beachside resort. Clean, great service and it wasnt too crowded. Nice pool and lovely stretch of beach just a few steps away from your doorstep.

Best place in Pangkor Laut. Lovely pool. Nice resto with good food. Next to the sea and long beautiful clean beach.Happy Island Services next door to rent boats, jet skis etc.. Nearby you can rent a scooter and cruise around. Nearest hotel to good restaurants too.We were there 5 nights. Will defo go back.

We checked into Sandy beach resort Pangkor on 3/11/21 when state borders reopened and the room decor was surprisingly so new and clean after a renovation. It was really good value for money as the location is beachfront with water sports activities and a round island trip available. There’s a beautiful seaview from its restaurant, Sandy Spoon. There was free breakfast and it was decent, with egg options, main dishes, local desserts and fruits. Right outside the hotel by the beach side are small food kiosks (takoyaki, ice cream, ABC as well as char kuey teow) and I had a great time eating one of the kiosks Pangkor special ice cream roti with soft bread, 2 scoops ice cream of your choice and peanut or Oreo topping for RM5.00 (photo). Yum!

We took the Honeymoon Pack (as we are in our honeymoon) and it was amazing. Its just cant compare to going to real propper resorts with proper facilities. The staff made us feel comfortable and attained to our big group. Walking distance to shoos and restaurants Overall I give it 10 out of.

A huge thanks to Mr William, the ***ager, who went more than the extra mile and provided excellent service. The hotel location enables easy access to water rides such as island tour , jet ski and snorkeling. Snorkeling is close by and you will enjoy the ride around this island. Very well done Keep it up.

I had a great time. The good part about the resort is it located at isolated place so its perfect for relaxation, nobody will bother. ***agement did offer us a room at a place over the road but on inspection the room was awful and we didnt pay for a souless hotel room away from the beach so declined. The weekends and school holidays would be noisier.

We enjoyed our time at this hotel. The Resort is a short walk to eating places and mini markets. Sandy Beach Resort has a nice beach but water sports activities by neighbouring operator puts a damper to the traquility during the day. There are several restaurants and convenient stores just within walking distance from the resort. Outside shower available.

The breakfast is poor and low quality. Its value for money although the breakfast spread can be improved. I recommend this hotel for a small boutique experience. The beach nearby is however a bit dirty and not the most beautiful on the island. Its lovely to sit under the fan in the veranda and read a good book.

The beach was like a stone throw away frm d resort. Breakfast is good if a little limited in choice but the eggs tasted fresh and free range. Nothing to do with the hotel but when there is no good dining so you are forced to go take a taxi outside.

The hotel itself is pleasing to the eyes as it is surrounded by greens and beautiful, tropical flowers. The staff went out of their way to come all the way to the mainland ferry to load our luggage in the bus. Surroundings full of rubbish and broken pavements and half built projects.
