השער הקרוב ביותר לכותל , ניקרא כך כי דרכו העבירו את האפר והאשפה של בית המקדש ואשפה של כל העיר העתיקה , דרך שער זה נכנסים אוטובוסים לכיוון הכותל ,ממקום זה יוצאות התהלוכות של חוגגיי הבר מצווה עם המון שמחה תקיעת שופרות מוסיקה וריקודים לכיוון הכותל , עליי לציין את הסדר המופתי במקום שבימי שני וחמישי חוגגים עשרות חתני בר מצווה במזל טוב

נכנסתי לכותל דרך שער האשפות. מאובטח נקי מרגש

קשה מאוד לבוא עם רכב במיוחד שאתה לא תושה ירושלים

המקום נפחא. המגישות לתחבורה בעייתי

I learned about a new bus which is wonderful to use to return from the kotel- bus 2.But first my experience.I love going to the kotel.But i learned from this experience to check whether or not there are demonstations by damascus date stopping egged buses.There had been a demonstation that afternoon resulting in egged rerouting buses.The bus number 1 to the kotel dropped us off at mt zion after a very strange route avoiding damascus gate instead of at the kotel.Going back from the kotel there were no number 1 or number 3 buses.A new bus number 2 bus was running which i took to the beginning of jaffa road.I recommend always taking bus 2 as it is fast and gets you to jaffa road where there are many options
