桜の季節に訪れました天守は小さいですが現存天守です。元の場所に戻ったらまた来てみたいと思います。

2019年9月訪問。楽しみにしてきた最北端の現存天守でしたが、、、。修復工事で移動した天守がペタッとした平面にペタッと置いてあって興ざめなのはまあ仕方ないとしても、若いスタッフたちの接客教育ができてなくて、おもてなしの心が見られないのが残念でした。車は観光館の駐車場に置きました。

石垣修復で移動された本丸の中にあります、特別な展示は少ないように思います

資料館という割には資料が貧弱です。消失したんでしょか？なお、城全体は市民の公園となっており、綺麗でうらやましい環境です。

現在の天守は、資料館としても活用されています。また、石垣の積み直しのため、本丸の中央部へ曳家工事で移動。今しか見れない景色が魅力です。

GWの混み具合は最悪でしたね。長い行列で…御苦労様ですよ。

弘前城は、津軽を統一した津軽為信が計画し、二代藩主信牧が慶長１６年（１６１１）に完成させた。最初の天守は五層で本丸西南隅に構築されていたが、建城から１６年後の寛永４年（１６２７）に落雷により焼失した。現在の天守は、九代藩主寧親が櫓造営の名目で幕府の許可を得、文化７年（１８１０）に完成したものである。建築年代は新しいが、濠側の東・南両面には鉄扉窓をつけず、矢狭間だけとし、一二層にはその中央に張りをつけ切妻破風、石落としを設けるなど古形式になっている。江戸時代に建築され、現存する天守としては、東北地方唯一のものであり、小規模ではあるが、全国の城郭天守の中でも代表的なものである。The construction of Hirosaki Castle began under Tamenobu Tsugaru, who united the Tsugaru region. The castle was completed by the second feudal lord. Nobuhira Tsugaru, in 1611. The first keep was a five-story structure built on the southwestern corner of the castle enclosure. However, it was hit by lightning and destroyed by fire in 1627, 16 years after its construction.The present keep was completed in 1810 by the Ninth Feudal Lord, Yasuchika Tsugaru, who acquired permission from the Tokugawa government to build under the pretext of a turret.While the keep was constructed recently, it was built with traditional features. Instead of iron windows on the east and south sides of the moat, for example, there are only arrow slits. Additionally, the first and second stories are equipped with gabled roofs on the protruded wails and openings to throw rocks from. This is the only keep in the Tohoku region built during the Edo Period that still exists to this day. Though small, it is a prominent castle keep that represents Japanese architecture and history.
